new stuff.
here’s some new stuff from this week.
I did a faux tv guide cover illustration of Herman Munster in red pencil:
and I went out with Matt Doyle to paint a landscape from life. It’s the first time I’ve ever done that, and I’m really not used to painting wet into wet with oil paint outside with all the bugs flying around…. heh. I think it came out ok for my first try:

the clown is older. the painting was drawn from life, painted from a photo and my head.
i’d like to paint my illustrations. i think i’ll start to try that.
